E for Energy Saving
Rancilio are very committed to being environmentally sustainable so have created this E model of Silvia to shut off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. The Silvia consumes less than 0.5 watt-hour in standby mode. The Silvia is also equipped with a special boiler wrapped in a foam thermal insulator which a high rate of heat absorption which reduces the energy consumption of the machine when it is on.
